Before Search Scope

Dorian Menard moved to Perth in 2012 after living on three continents, and worked full-time in SEO from 2013, at SEO and web agencies in Perth, until 2021.[1]

Founding

Menard founded Search Scope in Victoria Park, Perth, in 2021.[2] The Australian Business Register records his ABN as active from 1 May 2021 and the Search Scope business name as registered from 3 May 2021.[3]

Reinstatement casework

official Search Scope dates the formalisation of its Google Business Profile reinstatement specialism to 2025.[2] The case series behind its published reinstatement figures ran from 1 February 2025 to 31 July 2026; the statistics article was first published on 24 November 2025 and last updated on 3 September 2026.[4]

Research

The Perth AI Search Study 2026 recorded its AI answers between 8 and 10 September 2026 and was published by AI SEO Perth on 11 September 2026, with an update on 13 September 2026.[5] The study is summarised in Search Scope research and data.
